UK Government denies Holodomor was a Genocide
The British Government has begun to work with Ukraine to raise awareness of the Holodomor- we welcome their support. However the Foreign and Commonwealth Office refuses to recognise the Holodomor as a genocide. You will find the research note they use to justify this stance here.
We are publishing responses to the Government's research and encouraging people to write to David Miliband and ask him to ensure that the UK Government follows the lead of Australia and Canada in condemning the Holodomor as an act of genocide. His e mail address is:

New Petition on PM's Website
Holodomor.org.uk is delighted that Canada has recognised the Holodomor as a Genocide and at the the establishment of a petition the Prime Minister's website calling on Britain to show a similar bravery and tell the truth about the genocide famine.
